Adina Astor, Founder and Principal

Adina has been a consultant and advisor for 25 years. Most recently she was a Partner at Next Street Financial, a mission-driven firm advising clients at the intersection of small enterprise and economic development. Adina led the expansion of the firm’s work into place-based strategies for small business development and shaped sector-leading strategies for a range of clients in workforce development, health and human services, and housing and community development. She founded Adina Astor Consulting in 2019 to focus exclusively on advising senior leaders facing critical choices.

Adina started her career as a leader of McKinsey’s US healthcare practice, where she managed complex engagements for Fortune 500 firms in health services and insurance as well as pharmaceuticals and medical products. Her work shaped wide-ranging portfolios of pre-ACA managed care strategies and anticipated the rise of consumer-directed health programs.

Adina has a BA with high honors from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
